We are a family of seven — five children and two parents — and one of our children is medically fragile. Just three weeks ago, life felt stable and manageable. Then everything changed. Our daughter was rushed to the ER after experiencing severe breathing problems. We prayed that a CPAP machine would help her return to her normal routine, but despite the doctors’ best efforts, she was unable to breathe safely on her own. Because a CPAP cannot be used 24/7, we were faced with the incredibly difficult decision to move forward with a tracheostomy to ensure she can breathe and come home safely.

As you can imagine, this unexpected medical crisis has turned our world upside down. We have had to miss work and make urgent adjustments to care for our daughter, which has caused a significant loss of income. Our focus right now is making sure she is comfortable, supported, and fully prepared for life at home after the hospital. Any support we receive will go directly toward household expenses, medical-related needs, and ensuring our daughter has everything she requires during this transition.
