Johan, that vibrant chap with a generous and infectious personality, has been thrown a curveball and has been diagnosed with oesophageal cancer. But fear not, he’s young and strong and has caught it early so he’s going all out to cure and remove this nasty disease.

Johan's fun, positive spirit has touched the lives of so many, and now it's our turn to rally around him. As he fights in this challenging journey, we aim to raise funds to help support the considerable costs.

Johan has now started chemotherapy, and is doing well with an amazing positive attitude

We are seeking the best possible care for Johan, and with the bills already piling up from treatment and surgeries, plus major surgery to come that will take time to recover, every little contribution will help. This will assist Johan in paying for treatments, surgeries and time off work recovering, to focus on what truly matters: beating this awful disease.

While he will appreciate the overwhelming support from his network, please know that Johan will be fielding a lot of calls and messages, not only from friends but from medical professionals. He’d love to contact everyone but it will be overwhelming.
