Help Our Mama Take The Time She Needs to Heal

Just two days after the world celebrated Mothers Day across the globe, we almost lost ours.
Most of you know by now that our sweet mama was involved in a terrible car accident yesterday afternoon. She was headed home from work, and unfortunately, a man pulled out in front of her at the intersection of Blanding and CR215. If you live in that area, you know that's an extremely dangerous intersection. There's no denying people have lost loved ones there before.
She tried to swerve and avoid him. But there was no time, they made contact and a t-bone collision took place. Mom's car flipped, landed on its side and slid to a landing in the median on the driver's side. Fortunately, neither vehicle involved was hit by any oncoming vehicles. We were told that her car was smoking, and about 5 very brave, good samaritans rushed to pry her door open, crawl in, cut her seatbelt and pull her out through the passengers side. Mom said they were angels and they did not hesitate to get in there and get her out. We're so grateful to those selfless human beings who took action and didn't leave her in there, helpless.
Now the healing needs to begin. This is going to be the hardest part, because anybody that knows my mom personally, knows that we cannot keep her down! She's always hustling, always on the go, always working her fingers to the bone. She WILL NOT stay down for too long if she can help it. She's already starting to talk about replacing her vehicle, summer, and lining up her cleaning schedule to get back to work "once she's back on her feet". etc.
For those of you that don't know our mama personally, she works for the Clay County School Board. She's been working with ESE/EBD kids for over 20 years. When's schools out, that means mom isn't working and although she's multitalented and has summer jobs to keep her busy. We don't want her working this summer! Our main concern is she will be out of work for the next month or so, she'll require physical therapy, she needs a new vehicle for when she returns to work, and most importantly she needs the peace of mind with all of the in between in order to take the necessary time to heal her body.
We just want her home, and the only way to take her mind off of not getting right back to work is to help her get through this hard time. As I'm sure, she's done many times over for each of us. We all know without a shadow of a doubt, mom is one of the most selfless and kindest people on this earth. I know we don't even have to say this as her kids. Because we witnessed the amount of love and support she has last night at the hospital. We're so grateful to all of you and we hope that you will take this opportunity to bless her in her time of need. This woman would give anyone her last dollar. If it meant they were better off that day than she was. She’s a giver and not a taker, and she won’t ask for help. We all know that.
We can't wait to see her back on her feet, being fun and silly again. We've never been more grateful to share another day with this precious woman. If you're fortunate enough to be able to hold your mama tight and tell her how much you love her, we can't stress this enough, do so every single chance you get! Life is too short and time with someone you love can be taken away in the blink of an eye. We thank each and every one of you in advance.
