Our 3-year-old Maltese has been a source of joy and comfort for our family, especially for my parents who are now empty nesters. He’s become their best friend, joining them on daily walks to the park, hikes, and every errand they can take him to. He’s truly brought our family so much closer and we do everything we can to give him the best care, including a special diet and regular vet visits.

Unfortunately, he suffers from recurring urinary stones. We’ve already had to have them surgically removed three times, and now he’s started peeing blood again. The thought of him being in pain is heartbreaking, and we know he needs another surgery or other procedure to remove the stones from his bladder so he can be comfortable and healthy again. We want to find the best care for him and try to find a doctor that will put us on the best preventative path. Right now, we simply can’t afford the cost of another procedure, even though we know how important it is for his well-being.
