Lucas is our pint-sized superhero, who decided to kickstart his adventure a bit early at just 24 weeks old. Yep, he's a tiny but mighty fighter!

Now, Lucas is gearing up for a lung-saving adventure with a surgery to tackle those pesky lungs head-on. Think of it as a lung makeover – he's getting the deluxe treatment!

But, as life would have it, we've had a few unexpected detours on our path to superhero status. Daddy got caught up in a real-life bumper car session with a truck, leaving our family vehicle looking like a squished Oreo. Now we're down to one car, which makes our daily dance routine a bit more challenging.

In the midst of all this chaos, we're doing our best to ensure someone is always by Lucas's side, which means driving over 100 miles a day to and from the NICU. One of us stays with Lucas while the other tends to our furry friends back home. Speaking of our furry friends, they're a handful too, with their wagging tails and endless demands for attention.

Your donations will go towards covering the cost of ongoing medical bills for Lucas and the expenses related to staying closer to Lucas in Long Beach during this crucial time. Every contribution helps us keep our focus where it matters most – on Lucas's health and well-being.
