Help our loving dog Milo get back on his feet!
Donation protected
When we adopted Milo, he had just undergone a traumatic but necessary surgery to amputate one of his front legs; the result of getting trapped in a careless person’s animal trap. Luckily for him and us, he didn’t spend long in the shelter because we fell in love with him IMMEDIATELY.
Milo instantly became a core part of our family; incredibly gentle, constantly looking for a cuddle, and always up for any adventure. Over the last 5 years, we’ve discovered that he loves long car rides, large grassy fields, and the beach regardless of the time of year or weather!
Unfortunately, recently while he was enjoying an afternoon in our local dog park, we think he ran through a hole or otherwise pivoted his weight awkwardly and tore his ACL in one of his back legs. Suddenly, our loving Milo had to adjust to getting around on just two legs! Thankfully, the vet was able to perform surgery on him and we have faith in a full recovery. We would never have hesitated even for a moment, but sadly it is an expense we didn’t anticipate and couldn’t plan for. Any help you can offer will go directly to paying his vet and aftercare bills so that Milo can get back to himself as soon as possible.
He has a big bark, but an even bigger heart and our lives would never have been the same without him. We appreciate anything you can do to help.
