If you know Ms. Pamela Hawk, you LOVE Ms. Pamela Hawk. She is our good friend, amazing human being & Queen Pin of the Nashville entertainment community, and she NEEDS OUR HELP!

In just these past two months, Pam has been to the Emergency Room FIVE times! (Think about that... how scary and unnerving that would be for ANYBODY to go one time... much less FIVE!). The overriding symptoms have been both severe drops AND extreme spikes with her blood pressure. Doctors have been running her through ALL the tests to try and figure out why her BP is both dropping and spiking to DANGEROUSLY high levels. The first time she went, it was a jaw-dropping 79/58 (dangerously LOW, verging on unconsciousness). This most recent trip, she has been diagnosed with chronic anemia, which would, of course, come as a cruel shock to anyone who's been living their best life for years.

The subsequent visits were for her blood pressure issues as well. These nightmarish up and down BP fluctuations have not only caused severe dizziness, nausea, and imbalance problems, but they've taken an extreme psychological toll on her mental health as well, with the fear of the medical unknown being extremely difficult to deal with. At this point, she is looking at a vast array of blood tests for sepsis, blood platelet disorders, infections, and even a potential blood transfusion due to the anemia. On top of these frightening health scares, she has also been diagnosed on her most recent visit with a cataract in her right eye that must be surgically repaired immediately. And probably the most devastating news of all with the cataract diagnosis is she will be unable to work in her beloved field of hair and makeup until she's fully healed, which if you know Pam, she is widely known and highly respected as one of the premier hair and makeup ARTISTS in Nashville's thriving entertainment community.

Pam is facing a great uphill battle just to get back to her usual bubbly, fun-loving self, and if you know her, you know what an energetic, vivacious, sweet human being she is who wouldn't hesitate to give you the shirt off her back (or the leopard print scarf around her neck...Lol). Our goal is to raise enough money so she doesn't need to worry about finances but can focus on her recovery from her current health battle that is SURE to come with the USUAL flurry of hospital bills.
