Help our lovely friend who is battling cancer.

Alicia has been battling melanoma cancer for the last two years, which started from her arm and then transferred to her lymph node. As of August of this year it spread to her brain giving her three tumors, which she had surgery, one tumor was removed, but doctors wanted to fight the other two with radiation and chemo. She completed her radiation and continued to get her chemo treatments, but as of 10/19/22 she started with what she thought it was a stomach bug, which ended up being a severe stomach infection which affected her liver, gallbladder, pancreas and esophagus. She is currently under antibiotics, steroids, IV fluids, blood and plasma transfusions to help her levels get better. Her bilirubin and clotting factors are very elevated. She is in pain, suffering from leg swelling, weakness and exhaustion. Doctors were finally able to get her stable enough to get a liver biopsy on 10/31/22 to try and figure out how much of her liver has gone into failure and if it can be cured by medications or if the cancer has also reached her liver. Your help and donations will be used to cover her household expenses, and care when she returns home.

Alicia ha estado combatiendo un Cancer de melanoma los ultimos dos años. Estos empezaron en su brazo y se transpasaron a sus gaglios linfaticos.El pasado Agosto de este año se le propagaron a su cerebro dandole tres tumores, donde tuvo cirugia y un tumor pudo ser removido, los doctores quisieron conbatir los otros dos tumores con radiacion y chimioterapia. Ella completo sus radiaciones y continuo con su tratamiendo de chimioterapia, pero el pasado 19 de Octubre de este año, empezo con algo que ella pensaba que era un virus estomacal el cual termino siendo una infeccion estomacal, que afecto su Higado, Pancreas, Vesicula, y su Esófago. Actualmente, ella se encuentra en tratamineto con antibioticos, esteroides, fluidos intravenosos, transfuciones de sangre y plasma, para poder mejorar todos sus niveles. Ella se encuentra en constante dolor, sufriendo de inchason en sus pienas,debilidad y cansancio. Los doctores lograron estabilizarla este 31 de octubre para poder hacerle una biopsia para saber que tanto daño tiene su Higado y si es parte de su cancer o se puede tratar con medicamento.
