Help Our Lola Susing Walk Again After a Painful Fall

Donation protected
Hello, we are Roque and Charmaine Macalipay, and we truly appreciate you taking a moment to read our story. Our beloved 97-year-old, Lola Susing from Dumaguete City, recently suffered a fall that broke her left thigh bone. She needs surgery to help her walk again and ease her pain. Lola has always been the heart of our family — strong, loving, and full of faith. Donations will greatly help with her surgery, hospital care, and recovery. Most of all, we ask for your prayers for her healing and strength. ❤️

Back in October 6, 2025, Lola Susing had a ground-level fall at home. It all happened so fast. She was trying to get to the bathroom in the middle of the night, she got off balance despite the walker and fell. She cried out in pain, when my father and uncle heard her it was already too late. They rushed to help her — only to learn in the ER that she had fractured her left femur (thigh bone).

Seeing her in pain, unable to move, broke our hearts. At her age, even small injuries can be serious, but this one has left her unable to walk.

The doctors told us she needs surgery to repair the bone. It’s the best way for her to recover, relieve her pain, and regain even a bit of mobility. The estimated cost for the surgery, medications, and hospital stay is around ₱300,000.

We’re doing everything we can to take care of her, but we also know that this journey will be a big challenge — emotionally, physically, and financially. Lola Susing has always been our source of comfort and strength; now it’s our turn to be hers.

We’re asking for your help — through prayers, encouragement, or any amount you can give. Your support will go directly to her surgery, hospital care, and recovery. Every little bit means so much to us.

We just want to see her smile again — sitting by the window, enjoying the fresh air, telling her stories, and laughing with her great-grandchildren. She’s fought through so much in life, and we know she still has so much love left to share.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for reading, sharing, and helping. Your kindness and generosity mean more than words can say. ❤️
