Dear friends and community,

We come to you today to inform you of Patrick Murphy who is a veteran paramedic in the East Texas area. Patrick has been on the front lines fighting and battling Covid since before the pandemic began. Patrick has been working in a local Emergency Room in Tyler for the past several years. Patrick is a friend A colleague and an amazing clinician. And Just like Patrick’s personality he has a heart the size of Texas. And now as a result of saving lives and refusing to leave the front lines In order to take care of as many people as possible Patrick has contracted this horrible virus. As well as his wife Tasha Murphy who is a cancer survivor. Both Patrick and Tasha are hospitalized and doing their best to fight the coronavirus. Cody Murphy who is Patrick and Tosha‘s son has flown back into Texas after leaving for college to be with his parents. You should know that Patrick being the wonderful person he is would never ask for help but Patrick would be the first person to offer help to anyone in need. So We; as his friends and colleagues are asking today that all of us reach deep into our pockets to relieve the financial stains on Patrick and his family and that we rally together as a community to help this HERO and his family in the same way he has helped so many others.
