Janis is on the mend. Family members have been in town for the past couple weeks helping out and headed back East today. In the coming weeks, Janis will be starting home health care, physical therapy and of course more doctor appointments.
I can't thank Janis' friends enough for their love and support. The Ocean Beach community is unique and a true blessing. I am forever grateful to all of you for helping my sister with her recovery. Dear Friends and Family of Janis Ambrosiani,
We have started this fund to help Janis with the medical bills she has incurred as a result of an infection throughout her body which caused her to have open-heart surgery. She also has an infection in her spine. She has more procedures to follow soon. The costs are unknown but expected to be in the $100's of thousands of dollars.
Janis is our local artist in Ocean Beach and has painted numerous community murals during the OB Street Fair events over the past 30+ years. She also assisted In the making of the famous sign at the Hodads restaurant in OB as well as numerous murals in Restaurants and bars around the city. She is in our thoughts and hearts, and we want to do whatever we can to support her recovery and the cost of her medical bills.
Anything you can donate will be much appreciated. 100% of the money received will be used for her expenses.
