Help Our Little Son Vethuja Fight against cancer

Dear Friends and Kind Souls,

We are proud parents of Vethuja, lovingly known as Chooti our vibrant and playful 7 year old son who has always brought immense joy to our lives. On August 25, 2024, our world was turned upside down when Chooti was diagnosed with a posterior fossa tumor with hydrocephalus, a serious condition that requires urgent and extensive medical treatment.

Our Family's Journey

In 2023, we moved to the United Kingdom to pursue our education and build a better future for our family.

Since moving here, we have been working tirelessly to manage our expenses and repay borrowings. However, with Chooti's sudden diagnosis, we have had to pause everything to focus entirely on his treatment and care. This has left us an incredibly challenging finance and emotional situation.

Why We Are Asking for Your Help

We are now facing mounting living expenses while trying to ensure the best possible treatment for our son.

According to doctors this is non curable. It is very hard to even imagine. So we searched everywhere to find someone who can cure our little son. A doctor in Sri Lanka who is doing Sri Lankan tradional medicine gave us a little hope.

The challenge is, we have to visit Sri Lanka every fortnight for the treatments and finding money for that is the most critical thing that now we are facing. We are unable to stay in Sri Lanka for long duration since the continuous monitoring by Great Ormond Street Hospital is also really important.
