Hello everyone. Today, I'm making this page to help my family with our little one having surgery. He has struggled with multiple health issues from his heart to his stomach since he was born. He has Congenital Heart Disease with an extra artery running into his lungs, but he also has Sandifer syndrome. Sandifer syndrome is a severe form of acid reflux that has hurt him since birth, and we weren't fully aware of the damage it was doing until it was too late. Now, at almost 8 months old, his esophagus is eaten up. He has issues swallowing and not aspirating, and it has damaged the muscles in his throat. The surgeons are going to be taking the top of his stomach and wrapping it around the bottom of his esophagus to protect it and giving him a feeding tube. This is going to be a rough process for us, and we are terrified to have our baby under anesthesia, but we desperately want to protect him and make him not suffer anymore.

During this time, my husband and I will be missing a fair amount of work and could really use help because, unfortunately, life doesn't stop. We will need help getting a hotel the night before surgery due to it being 2 and a half hours away from us, and they will take him back between 5 and 6 am. We will also need help with gas for traveling back and forth for my husband because we have an 8-year-old little girl and 3 fur babies that cannot be unattended, not to mention all the bills that will be due right there at the end of the month and the beginning of the next. Anything will help us; no amount is too little. And above all things, we ask for continued prayers for our little guy. He is the sweetest, most precious little boy who smiles all day . I know God has him in His arms through all this and that he is covered, but I also know there is power in prayer, so thank you in advance.
