NYC, we made it ❤️. I haven't talked much about the details of Daya's new modeling opportunities, and I'm still keeping stuff quiet, but this week has tested my faith, my tenacity, and my strength. I am so grateful for my kiddos, their health, and my support system who has truly ridden through the storms with me. We've gone through the fire this week but refused to give up.

On the 31st, I got into an accident close to home because a lady swerved and pulled out in front of someone in front of me, and in that split second, the car couldn't come to a complete stop. Neither could the person behind me. Everyone walked away from it okay. Then we hit the road on the way to NYC for a big opportunity for Daya. The trip was going really well until we started driving through a construction zone in Pennsylvania. A piece of the road let go, the passenger side tire caught, and as I tried my best to correct the car to keep it from rolling and gain traction, the front side of the driver's side of the car hit the concrete barrier of the construction site. My head broke the glass of the driver's side door. Both kids were safe besides hitting their heads together, and my bestie who was co-pilot was also safe besides hitting her knee. We all went to the hospital in Pennsylvania to be medically cleared and ended up stranded about 400 miles away from our destination. We took a Lyft to the tow yard, grabbed our luggage, waited outside for an hour for an Uber, then rode to Walmart, then to the airport, caught a flight to NYC, didn't get to check into a hotel till after 1 am, slept till 6 am, then woke up, ate breakfast, then we walked to and rode the subway for the first time ever from the Bronx to Times Square, and got routed to the wrong place, caught a cab, and then ran about 1/2 a block and took escalators up to Daya's event arriving with absolutely no time to spare.

I'm grateful we are all safe, I'm grateful for my support system, and my hard head lol. I'm tired, I'm stressed out, my head, neck, and my back hurt, and I don't know what my next steps are, but I'm not giving up. I can't. I got two minis watching me, and I can't let them fall either...so give me and my bestie all the good energy you can muster for the way back home, and for figuring out whatever comes next when we all get back to Colorado ❤️.

I am setting this up for help with the deductible on the car and to help with bills since I dipped completely into my savings after losing our initial hotel reservation due to how late we got in because of my hospital stay due to my concussion, and taxi fees, and now plane tickets...I know with our economy, and holidays around the corner this is awful timing and I normally don't ask for anything as I am very prideful but I'm a single mom, and this is not about me...so if nothing comes from this I understand but I need to put my pride away and try.
