Hi everyone,
My name is Linda Moore, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help for my precious grandson, Dalton.
This past weekend, our family’s world was turned upside down when 18-month-old Dalton was rushed to the hospital and diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. It’s been overwhelming and frightening, especially for such a little boy who should be worrying about toys and playtime—not blood sugar levels and insulin.
Dalton now requires constant monitoring and insulin to stay healthy. One of the best tools to help manage his condition is an insulin pump, which can provide him with more stable blood sugar levels and a better quality of life. Unfortunately, the wait time to receive a pump through the system can be up to a year and a half.
For Dalton, that’s time we simply don’t have.
We do have the option to purchase a pump out of pocket so he can get the care he needs right away—but the cost is more than our family can manage alone.
That’s why I’m asking for your support. Any donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward getting Dalton the insulin pump he needs as soon as possible. If you’re unable to give, sharing this page would mean just as much to us.
Thank you for taking the time to read Dalton’s story and for keeping him in your thoughts and prayers. Our family is so grateful for any help during this difficult time.
With love and hope,
Linda and Melissa Moore
