Help our karate club reach the World Championships!

We are Steve and Mel O'Reilly, a father/daughter duo that run Haden Shotokan Karate Club in Halesowen, West Midlands. Over the last 10 years, we have worked hard to establish our reputation as a traditional karate club and have developed the confidence and abilities of many adults and children in the area.

In 2023, after only 6 months of competition training, a few of our students from our club were chosen to represent the country in the ICO World Championships and join ICO Team England. Of 5 students that entered, every single one stood on the podium, achieving 2 gold and 3 silver medals.

Due to our success, our club was shortlisted and invited back again in 2024, this time in Frankfurt. Again we were incredibly successful. With 6 competitors, we left Germany with 3 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze medal.

This year we are heading back again, this time to Swansea with a squad of 10 students. With the squad bigger again, more events that we have qualified for and the event spanning 5 days, we need your help to get us there!

We are seeking donations to help our students and their families to fund entry fees, mandatory health checks, travel and accommodation. Any donation is welcome and appreciated.
