Hi friends my name is Raeann, I am starting this gofundme on behalf of all the hooters staff to raise money for our cook Chuey’s foot surgery.

For 26 years, Chuey has been the heart of the kitchen at Hooters San Mateo. Day in and day out, he shows up with dedication, passion, and an incredible work ethic. If you’ve ever had an amazing meal there, chances are it was made by Chuey.

What many people don’t see is that Chuey has been dealing with serious foot problems for years. Despite being in constant pain, he continues to work long shifts on his feet — never complaining, never asking for sympathy, always putting his team first. Cooking isn’t just his job; it’s his passion, and the people he works with are his family.

Now, Chuey finally has the opportunity to get the foot surgery he truly needs — a surgery that will change his life. It will relieve years of pain, improve his mobility, and allow him to continue doing what he loves without suffering every single day.

We are hoping to raise $6,500 to help cover the cost of Chuey’s surgery and recovery. Any donation, big or small, will make a difference and help show him just how much he means to all of us.
