My name is Melissa Horn. I am a forty-nine year old woman, and I have been recently diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. I don't like to call my case 'urgent' but the truth of the matter, it is.
My approach was holistic and naturopathic for as long as I could, but as things progressed I realized that it was too far spread, and that I would have to do both conventional and integrative care.
In speaking to my Oncologist, conventional care can only treat me. There is no 'cure' by conventional standards (but I leave that to the Creator). Conventional care, at best, can buy me some time.
My odds are far more HOPEFUL with Integrative care..
And so, at this stage, I am combining both conventional with Integrative medicine. At least, I HOPE to.
The cost of the Comprehensive Integrative Cancer Care, or Alternative Cancer Treatment Center, is approximately $70,000, which doesn't include airfare, accommodations (for six weeks), transportation, food (on the weekends), which is why we are asking for $100,000 to cover all expenses and any unforeseen costs, as well as helping with any other medical bills that insurance does not cover. *
This is a lot of money. I know. But every penny would go to my heart felt WILL and DESIRE to live; to be strong; to be healthy again. Every penny would go toward a better prognosis than one or two years, with poor quality of life. That is unexpectable to me and should be no one's fate. I say we CREATE our own fate, and on this journey, wherever it takes me, I have to BELIEVE in and I have to go for the MIRACLE.
