In the early hours this morning [13/07/2026], our family’s life was turned upside down when a devastating house and car fire destroyed Steve’s vehicle and damaged our home.

For those who know him, Steve is the definition of a hard worker. As a dedicated taxi driver, he prides himself on his reliability and his commitment to his passengers, going above and beyond by carrying their shopping and waiting at hospital appointments. That car wasn't just a vehicle to him; it was his livelihood, his daily tool, and his way of supporting our family.

Because of this fire, he is now unable to work, and the sudden loss of income is going to put a massive strain on our household. Between the damage to our home and the total loss of the taxi, we are currently facing a mountain of unexpected expenses.
