Our beautiful sister, daughter, wife, mother, aunty and amazing friend to all, has recently found out that breast cancer has spread to her lungs and is now classed as stage 4. Although treatment is on going with the hospital we are aiming to try everything possible to help her in her fight back. In order to overcome this we are fundraising to raise money for all of the alternative therapies on offer to help her get through this with the aim of her taking her beautiful daughter Nellie to Paris for her 18th birthday. This WILL happen! So we are hoping and praying that we can spread this message far and wide. She has a super power beyond any other but needs these treatments to boost her up!

Her own words about her battle are below:

4 days before we flew on holiday I found out that breast cancer had spread to my lungs, I’m now classed as stage 4, it can’t get much worse than this. The news shocked me to my core, it was the last thing I was expecting but at the same time, deep down I had a feeling something wasn’t right.

You may read this and think oh no poor Harriet and don’t get me wrong I had 3 days of feeling very sorry for myself, thinking this could be the end. But then a super power was created inside me and I suddenly felt invincible and ready to fight my biggest fight to date. I’ve relied heavily on listening to doctors, oncologists and surgeons advice and hoped that the 4 medical options to fight cancer would mean that it would be gone, but I’ve tried chemo twice, radio, immuno and surgery and yet I’m still not cancer free.

I trusted my gut, and with my private medical insurance had multiple PET scans which I know I wouldn’t have been able to demand on the NHS, I knew that something wasn’t right as I had pain in my arm that was getting worse, never did I imagine that within 8 weeks of my two scans, nodules would appear on my lungs. I’ve caught it early, I’m determined to keep them at bay, and reduce them so I can finally say I’m cancer free one day.

Now, it’s time I take my health into my own hands, with the incredible support of my family and friends, and an unbelievable amount of research. I’ve drastically changed my diet, no sugar, carbs or alcohol for me, I actually lost weight on holiday for the first time ever and feel fitter and healthier than ever before, ironic really isn’t it.

I’ve got medical advice from Canada, I’m on so many supplements that I can’t even count, using an oxygen chamber 5 times as week and hopefully will be having IV Vitamin C and start with a personal trainer to irradicate this horrible disease that is trying to take my life. What the big C doesn’t realise is that I’m Harriet Lawler and I’m not going anywhere, I will beat cancer, my body will heal and I’ll be here to take Nellie to Paris for her 18th birthday.

Now the cost of her alternative treatments is high and we need to do all we can to raise money for them, just a few of the alternative treatments on offer are already totally £8500 and that is just to begin with with a monthly rolling cost of £2500 per month. Expensive treatments but worth every penny.
