As many of you know, Dyan’s husband, Anthony Barboza, passed away in his sleep on 12/29/2020. He had been struggling with severe health issues over the past few months, and had oscillated between being hospitalized and convalescing at home. Dyan spent these last months traveling to and from the hospital, while caring for their son, Anthony, and working full time as the sole provider of her family.
Anthony was also the loving son of Harry and Doloris Barboza, both deceased. He was the beloved brother to Arleen Nicholas, Brian, Scott, Robert, and was predeceased by brother Danny. He was also the father to grown son, Cameron.
A 1995 graduate of Coyle and Cassidy High School, Dyan and her son are residents of Taunton. Dyan has spent her career caring for the most vulnerable and sick individuals in the community at The Taunton Nursing Home, where she worked until its recent closure, and now at a Human Service agency in Southeastern Massachusetts at Peoples Inc. Anyone who knows Dyan can attest to the fact that she is a wonderful person, spouse, and mother. She has always put the needs of others, most importantly her family, before her own.
The cost of the burial and Anthony’s recent hospital bills, paired with the ever increasing financial strain of the Coronavirus pandemic, has put Dyan and her son Anthony in a difficult spot. Any donations to this family would make a huge impact and would be greatly appreciated. The coronavirus pandemic has impacted everyone this past year...if you are unable to make a monetary donation, please share this post if you are able. Every little bit of help will allow Dyan the time and resources that she and her son need to grieve their tremendous loss, and will allow those of us who know her to put her first.
