Help Our Good Friend Recover from Hurricane Helene

As many of you know, WNC was significantly impacted by devastating flooding due to Hurricane Helene ravaging much of the area around Sept 26, 2024. Unfortunately, some of the most beautiful places that I have very fond memories of are completely destroyed. I have never stopped loving this area since attending college there and most recently my children participating in camp right outside of Asheville.

As of today, there is still no water and electricity, and many local communities will be without for weeks. With your help, I would like to support a close friend and her son within the local Asheville community with lodging, supplies, and all the necessary items to help them rebuild and get back on their feet during this difficult time. They are currently displaced and looking for temporary lodging.
