Hi, my name is Sarah, and I'm raising money to buy these girls some basketball shoes.

They won their first game since anyone at the school can remember, and 6 of the 8 girls played in broken old street shoes.

6 of these 8 girls have never played basketball before. At this school, we have incredible athletes who can't play because they have to take care of their families after school, or they don't have rides to games. At this school, athletics has taken a backseat to survival.

Our girls are overcoming great odds just to show up.

These girls have heart. They have drive, and they hold each other up on that court.

I'm raising money to buy our girls some well-deserved basketball shoes that will help them level-up and play to their potential. Besides the game, these shoes provide the dignity and pride that comes from a new pair of kicks, and a sense of belonging that comes from the bond of a team.
