HELP OUR GIRL, ISLA

We all know emergencies tend to happen the absolute worst times. Well this of course is one of those times. Our 2 year old girl Isla, needs some help.

Our beloved fur baby, is in need of emergency surgery to remove a blockage. She hasn’t been able to eat for 24 hours now. She’s still drinking water but throws it up shortly after. We have tried some home remedies but so far have had no luck.

Isla is a chewer. She will chew anything that can be chewed. Literally anything. June of 2024, we had this same thing happen with her. We got her the surgery and found out she had swallowed one of our chihuahuas toys whole. She’s since recovered from that. However, she has managed to get a hold of something else that is now lodged in her digestive tract somewhere that she has not been able to pass.

Hate that I’m having to air out our business like this but we sadly do not have the funds this go around to get her the surgery again. Since her last incident, my husband and I had to file for bankruptcy. We did not file for bankruptcy because of the previous incident with Isla, but because of other personal life emergencies we’ve had to endure at such unexpected times. So because of that, we are getting denied left and right for a loan or any sort of credit to be able to get her this surgery.

So as one animal lover to another, if you can share or donate, literally anything will help. The last time this happened the surgery itself was just about $2K. If you’d like to call and donate to the vet directly to feel more comfortable, by all means, please do. Vet info is below. I have no contacted them yet as they are closed but I will call as soon as they open to see if can get something set up so you all can donate directly to them if that’s what you want to do.

Anyone that knows me, knows I would do anything for my animals. I’m upset that it came down to creating this GoFundMe but it was my last resort.
