Maki : Our Little Mittens Who Needs a Hand

This is Maki or (Mittens). She’s our three-year-old rescue cat, a domestic longhair with so much anxiety and not a single meow in her body. Instead, she honks and beeps like a tiny car alarm and has been our emotional support chaos gremlin since day one.

She was in a serious accident recently, and we had to rush her to emergency care. She's home now safe and healing but the vet bills are overwhelming.

The original estimate was $1,600, but they were kind enough to lower it to $1,380. We’re asking for $1,500 total to cover that and her next round of x-rays and follow-ups to make sure there’s no long-term damage.

I just started my own business, and my partner is living with a terminal illness so most of our money goes to her care. We never expected to be in this position, but Maki comes first.
