On Tuesday, December 16th, a 3-alarm fire broke out on the 4900 block of Glenwood, requiring over 100 firefighters to put out the flames throughout the night.

Our friends and coworkers Jess & Jeremy fled the building in the middle of the night with nothing but what they were wearing and have been unable to return to their homes to retrieve their belongings. Now, with 1/3 of the building decimated by the fire -- and the building being without working electricity, gas, or water-- they have been advised that they should plan to move out of their homes as soon as possible.

A sudden move in the height of winter and before the holidays is an extremely unplanned expense, and we want to make this trying time and transition as easy as possible. Any help is greatly appreciated and will go toward moving, housing, and other unexpected expenses at this time.
