Help our friends in Acapulco
Donation protected
On October 25th, at 1 am, Acapulco was hit by a Category 5 hurricane. The storm had exploded into a devastating hurricane in just 12 hours before it slammed ashore as the strongest storm on record to hit the Pacific Coast of Mexico.
Our local friends are safe and healthy at this point, but most lost their windows, doors and roofs. Some have lost everything. Water, electric and WIFI is spotty at best.
The Grimes Family is creating this account to raise funds to help support the staff of Casa Mi Sueno and other friends in Acapulco to survive during the rebuilding of their lives and homes. None were insured.
Many of you know of the Marsh Childrens Home Acapulco, an orphanage we have supported over the years. Their facility has also been totally wiped out.
We will also send support to Jovita, the Founder of Marsh, and the orphans.
NO FUNDS WILL BE USED FOR THE REPAIR OF CASA MI SUENO OR THE WAGES OF CASA MI SUENO STAFF.
Mark and Jeff Grimes will be overseeing the disbursement of funds and acquisition of food/supplies for our friends in Acapulco. It will be months and most likely years before Acapulco and its residents are back on their feet.
On behalf of the Grimes Family, we thank your for your financial support and prayers.
