Sweet Tucker the Therapy Dog Needs Our Help!

Meet Tucker, the most loving, gentle giant you will ever have the pleasure of knowing. His heart is as big as he is! He is a certified therapy dog and loves nothing more than spending his days “working” with Dad whether they are visiting the Lord Chamberlain Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Connecticut Hospice or helping kids to foster a love for reading as a Tail Wagging Tutor. He gives so much love to all he meets. When his dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, Tucker welcomed the chance to support him and bring joy to others receiving chemotherapy at the Smilow Cancer center. This big guy gives and gives. Today he needs our help. A few days ago, he started whimpering consistently as though he was in pain. He went to the vet for a full work up and nothing glaring was uncovered. About 24 hours later we found ourselves at the emergency vet hoping for some answers. Currently, our boy Tuck is suffering from some serious neurological deficiencies that are making it hard for him to eat and walk. We need to run extensive testing to uncover what might be causing his symptoms so we can fight for him and hopefully get him better so he can get back to doing what he loves most, spreading love! He will have his first big test, an MRI, tomorrow. If you can spare any amount, it would be so greatly appreciated!!
