Denise and I have set up this once-off 7 day gofundme page to help an African lady we know who needs to return home in the next few weeks to take over the care of her sick mother and to set herself up as the main bread winner for her family. This includes nieces and nephews from both of her sisters who have passed away.

Unlike many other successful foreign nationals who have found good jobs here, this lady has only been able to secure part time work and is sending home most of her earnings to support the family. Her life here in Ireland has been very challenging and a struggle for her for a few reasons, this is why we have set up this fast fundraiser as we want to be able to help her return home and also provide her with some funding to buy seeds and tools to generate a sustainable living for her family and repair their basic home after the recent floods.

We know that there are many requests for charity funds so any support you can give to this worthy cause would be really appreciated. We will close this page on Friday 25th July.
