Hi everyone,

You have been many offering support & help to our dear friend Steven who suffered from very severe injuries last Sunday. During our trip to San Francisco for the Redbull Mission Crit bike race event, Steven got into an accident that unfortunately left him with severe head trauma, and serious sequels that will require attentive & intensive medical care. In all due respect for the family and close friends, the details of the incident will not be disclosed as the complexity of the situation is still something we try to wrap our minds around. That being said, being in San Francisco far away for his hometown in Los Angeles, Steven does not only need your positive thoughts and prayers right now, but the lengthy recovery process will undoubtedly require 24/7, hands-on medical care, and also imply some serious medical expenses. Although he is in a stable state right now, attended to by the best head/brain trauma specialists in the city of San Francisco, Steven is going to be at the hospital anywhere between a few months, up to a year. Our main priority right now is to make sure that our friend gets back on his feet as quickly as possible, and that the family’s situation is taken care of in these difficult times. Therefore, any kind of donations, as small as dollar, could greatly help our friend and his family in the process of his recovery, making it as smooth and easy as possible in these very puzzling times. Steven is a son, a brother, an active member of the biking scene and a great friend to all who have had the chance to encounter him,

Update: Hello, my name is Chris, I'm Stevens brother. I just wanted to give a thanks to everyone who has donated so far and everyone who has been there for my brother in these difficult times. Our family thanks you, we will be using the money for our basic necessities and for Steven's recovery process. We really appreciate everyones contribution whether it was monetary or not. It makes me happy to know that Steven has great friends who are willing to be there to aid him in these tough times. I'm truly thankful for everyones help in Stevens recovery process. Steven is tough, I know he will make a full recovery especially with how willing everyone has been in terms of the support they have offered. Steven is doing better now a days, but he still has some ways to go, but compared to where he started we have definitely seen improvement. My brother has great supportive friends and that puts me and my mother at ease, thank you everyone.
