Help Our Friend Nick Kaprelian During Surgery

Due to an accident, Nick Kaprelian has multiple displaced fractures in his foot. Because of this injury, he found out that he will need surgery and will have to be out of work for 3 months. Surgery will be scheduled ASAP.
Nick just moved to Chicago to pursue his dream of acting. He has a good job with insurance but hasn't been working there long enough to be able to have much paid time off or short term disability. He *may* have a union benefit which would afford him less than $200 a week before taxes are taken out. That is still being determined. Even with that small benefit, Nick will not have enough money to pay bills.
Nick Kaprelian has supported the Madison community in so many different ways. His steadfastness, his kindness, his support to everyone has been missed since he has left town. Now, we have a real tangible way to say thank you and show him the same support he has show us.
We are asking for bare minimum cost, not including the cost of the surgery. We are always happy to have more, but his estimated costs are about $1500 per month. I added in another $500 to round out the number and give him a little cushion in case something happens during recovery.
We love this guy and he doesn't deserve all his hard work and progress to be taken away because of a medical expense.
