Help our friend Mark Burk

We are asking for help for our friend Mark Burk, who is going through a difficult time because of health issues. We asked if we could create this go fund me to help him as he would have done for us. Mark has had several unexpected health problems develop in the past year and a half, and he has not been able to work. Prior to this, he has worked tirelessly for over 45 years. He now has trouble doing everyday tasks. Walking to the end of the driveway causes him severe pain. His heart is only working at 35% capacity.

Mark also contracted COVID-19 and has lingering effects from the virus, including fatigue, chronic headaches, breathing issues, and hair loss.

He is unable to cover the cost of medication and household bills. He has lost his car, he is unable to pay for medicine every month, and is working on getting SSI disability approved – but in the meantime, he has mounting bills, including $2,000 a month in prescription costs. All money raised will go directly to Mark for household and medical expenses. We appreciate anything you can do to help him – even if it is an encouraging phone call.
