Help our friend Lisa Norwood ❤️❤️❤️

Hi my name is Sally and I am one of many of Lisa Norwood ‘s good friends. Lisa needs our help. Lisa was diagnosed with MS in the spring of 2014. She took Novartis for 8 years not knowing that this could potentially wipe out her immune system leaving her susceptible to an often fatal disease called PML. On a routine MRI the doctor noticed some unusual changes in her brain. After three more MRI’s and three lumbar punctures it was confirmed that Lisa indeed has PML. This disease is caused by a virus that targets the cells that make myelin- the material that insulates nerve cells. PML worsens quickly and can be deadly. There is no cure or standard of care.

Currently, there is a trial at MD Anderson in Houston, Texas. Insurance does not cover ANY of this. She will possibly need up to 20 infusions depending upon how the PML responds. In order to be eligible she needs to pay $24,937.50 for the first one. Each infusion after is over $10,000.00. Please help with donating any amount.
