On 02-11-21 Kris was diagnosed with a recurrence of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Kris had her first battle with stage 3 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in late 2016. She underwent 6 months of ABVD chemotherapy which she completed in February 2017. She will need to undergo 3 months of ICE chemotherapy starting 2-22-21 followed by a bone marrow transplant. Kris’s passion is helping others which is why she decided to become an EMT. She has worked for Donald Martens for the last 2 years where caring and advocating for her patients has been such a fulfilling career.
Kris has been unable to work since 1-21-21 and is currently pending approval of social security disability benefits. These benefits can take up to five months to receive upon approval. In the meantime Kris is in need of help with her basic living expenses. Due to COVID-19 and her fragile immune system, we figured it would be safer to do this instead of having a fundraiser.
