On July 3, our friend Kevin was seriously injured while doing what he loves—photographing a band at a show. During the performance, he was unexpectedly knocked into the crash bar of an exit door, suffering a fractured back.

Kevin is expected to be out of work for at least six weeks, and his recovery will continue well beyond that. He faces months of physical and occupational therapy, mounting medical bills, and the loss of income while he’s unable to work. He’ll also have to miss the ESSES tour to Chile this August, something he had been looking forward to.
