On September 14th 2025, our friend Kenney Jackson was put on life support during his birthday trip to New York City.

Kenney has struggled with asthma his entire life. The New York air quality, travel, and sawdust from ongoing AirBnB construction triggered worsening asthma symptoms.

At first, our Urgent Care stop showed no signs of severity and prescribed a simple steroid to open the throat. As his symptoms stayed the same, we took him to the local ER for a check up. Unfortunately, his symptoms quickly worsened and he was transferred to another hospital to be put on life support (ECMO). This journey took place over the course of less than 24 hours, and has been traumatizing to Kenney's family and friends.

Funds raised will be transferred to Kenney's mom, who flew to NYC to be with Kenney, for hotel stays, food, and aid with medical expenses. His health is improving now but the financial damages are still very present.
