On the night of Sunday, May 8th, Kate was transported to the emergency room after suffering a burst brain aneurysm at home. The next morning she was transferred to Redwood City for emergency surgery that afternoon. Thankfully the surgery was successful and she has been recovering in the ICU.

Although Kate has been so lucky to get through the initial medical issues thanks to fantastic hospital staff and the support of family and friends, now comes the hard part... loss of work during her recovery, everyday bills that keep adding up, and medical costs for the whole ordeal.

 Anything you can donate will help her out immensely as she keeps recovering and looking forward to her life returning back to normal after what almost was such a tragic event.
