Help our friend Karen Gee-Krueger

We are doing this fundraiser to help our friend Karen. While visiting family in Iowa this week, Karen was hospitalized with a diagnosis of myocarditis. She had to be placed on ECMO and is going to need extensive and long-term cardiac care, including an LVAD.

Karen and Paul just welcomed their beautiful baby girl, Amelia, in May 2024 and have been loving life as new parents.

Both Karen and Paul are nurses in the NYC area. Karen has been an RN for over 10 years at CCMC NICU, taking care of the smallest patients around.

Karen is truly one of the most selfless and kind souls you could ever meet. She has dedicated her home and work life to taking care of others.

The Gee-Krueger family have been uprooted to Iowa, leaving behind their home, cat, and jobs for an unknown timeframe. Paul has rented an Airbnb near the hospital where Karen is, thankfully with family to help with baby Amelia.

There isn't much we can do to help them but to alleviate some of the financial burden. Thank you
