This Christmas season meant to be a time of hope, warmth, and family our dear friend JB de Leon suffered a heartbreaking loss. A devastating house fire took nearly everything from him: his home, his personal belongings, and the essential equipment he relies on for his work and livelihood.

This tragedy did not come in isolation.

The past year has been relentlessly difficult for JB and his family.

In August 2024, his sister and niece were involved in a severe car accident that completely totaled their vehicle.

In October 2025, his brother-in-law spent 37 days in the hospital, fighting for his life while battling Stage 4 Chronic Kidney Disease.

Then, in December 2025, the fire struck becoming the final and most devastating blow.

Photography is not just JB’s profession it is his calling. It is woven into who he is. Through his work, JB has told stories, preserved memories, and uplifted lives. Beyond the camera, he has consistently given back mentoring young photographers, serving communities, and empowering children through faith in God, creativity, and guidance. He has spent years pouring into others, often quietly and selflessly.

Today, JB needs us.

We are starting this fundraiser to remind him that he is not alone that the love, generosity, and community he has built over the years now stands with him. All funds raised will be sent directly to JB in the Philippines to help cover immediate living needs and replace essential equipment so he can begin rebuilding his life, his work, and his mission.
