You know him, you love him. Our friend James Morris-Dolar recently came down with acute appendicitis, and they need to cut that sucker out. Unfortunately, James is not insured and will be paying for all of the medical costs out of pocket. Considering the hospital stay, the imaging, and the surgery, his bill may be quite large. If you know James, then you know he would literally give a stranger the shirt off his back if he thought it would help. It’s time for us as friends and family to come together and support him, just as he would for us. Any little bit will help to defray the cost of this unavoidable surgery. Thanks

*UPDATE 2/21: James had a successful appendectomy at Maine Med. He’s at home and doing well. I will update with pictures of the offending appendix and the bill soon.

UPDATE 3/1: James got the bill. It was less than expected but still quite large. I’ve updated the goal to reflect that, and will be posting the itemized bill once he receives it in the mail. Thanks to everyone for your support!
