Charity is Healing- Supporting Brother After deadly Accident

My name is Khalifa El Hara, and I’m raising funds for our Moroccan brother and friend who suffered severe fractures and internal bleeding in a serious accident. He is currently in the hospital, recovering from multiple surgeries, and cannot walk, work, or manage on his own.

He was working as an Uber driver, picking up customers, when the accident happened. Sadly, because he only had the state’s minimum insurance, he will not receive any compensation for pain and suffering. This is also a lesson for all Uber and delivery drivers: please make sure to add personal injury coverage (it costs as little as $0.03 per mile) and switch to full tort insurance, because otherwise you will not be protected if something tragic happens.

كان يشتغل كسائق أوبر وقت وقوع الحادث، وللأسف لأنه كان يتوفر فقط على التأمين الإجباري الأدنى، فلن يحصل على أي تعويض عن الألم والمعاناة. وهذه رسالة لكل سائقي أوبر والتوصيل: من الضروري إضافة تغطية الإصابة الشخصية (تكلف فقط حوالي 0.03 سنت للميل) والتبديل إلى نظام التأمين الشامل Full Tort، وإلا فلن تجدوا أي حماية في مثل هذه الظروف الصعبة.
