We are reaching out to you with an urgent and heartfelt plea. Our dear friend, D., is facing the risk of deportation from the EU. As a refugee, D. has already endured unimaginable hardships, and now they need our support to secure their stay in the EU. Returning to the country they fled from is almost impossible.

Why We Need Your Help

D. has come to the EU in search of a safe future and a life that is more than just surviving. Since then, they have moved through several countries and cities, finally finding a place where they can rest, be accepted, make friends, and find a partner. Many of you know D. as a bright, positive contributor to our community, forming strong bonds with those around them.

However, due to recent developments and misfortune, they are now at a high risk of being deported back to a place where their safety and well-being are uncertain. In their home country, as a trans person, they would not have access to necessary healthcare and would be unable to continue their hormone replacement therapy (HRT).

To prevent this, we need to raise funds for the following:

1. Legal Assistance: Hiring a skilled immigration lawyer who can navigate the complexities of their case and provide the best possible representation.

2. Marriage Expenses: D. and their partner plan to get married in a few weeks to provide a stronger legal standing for their stay.

3. Administrative and Processing Fees: Covering the costs associated with legal filings, paperwork, and any other necessary documentation.
