Eric Thompson (Valley Center, KS) an employee with the Valley Center Recreation Commission working at the Valley Point Golf Course has been diagnosed with CIDP - Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy which is a rare disorder of the peripheral nerves characterized by gradually increasing sensory loss and weakness associated with loss of reflexes.

Eric has limited health insurance coverage and the treatment for CIDP is very expensive sometimes thousands of dollars for individual treatments.

Eric is essentially bedridden or at best confined to a wheelchair for now as he awaits treatment.
