Help Our Friend Dupree
Donation protected

Hello everyone!
My name is Aimee, I am one of Dupree’s best friends. I am here to help Dupree’s family set up assistance for Dupree’s road to recovery.
Dupree’s health has taken a shocking decline since the start of 2022. In January Dupree was in a car accident where he suffered a broken sternum, broken vertebrae, and a concussion. After further testing Dupree was diagnosed with Viral Encephalitis (inflammation of the brain). Beginning anti-viral treatments, Dupree was expected to start improving but, days later he had returned to the hospital with an aggressively high fever. Over the course of a few months, Dupree has experienced a number of life-threatening issues including the insufficient functioning of his kidneys and liver. Dupree is unable to walk on his own due to the lack of control of his muscles and limbs. His cognitive function has regressed so much that he is suffering memory loss and having difficulties communicating.
Because of the rapid decline in his health, Dupree lost his job and currently does not have the health insurance he deserves to support his fight.
His incredible mother, Mary, has taken a leave of absence from work since Dupree currently requires around-the-clock care. Not only does she have Dupree to care for, she is trying to balance the joy of meeting her first grandchild that was welcomed into the world just a few weeks ago. Savannah, Dupree’s sister has yet to be able to introduce her sweet baby boy to his Uncle Dupree.

For those of you who have been lucky enough to meet Dupree, you have encountered one of the most charismatic, fun loving, and friendliest humans on the planet. For those who have not had the pleasure, Dupree has the most infectious laugh, if he’s not got you laughing first. He is an extraordinary aviator with a passion to be in the sky as much as a bird. Most of all, he is the kind of friend who, near or far, will be by your side when you need him most.

It has been heartwarming to hear the amount of love and support that has come to Dupree’s attention in the past few weeks and people are wondering what they can do to help.
Donating to this fund will lay the foundation for Dupree and his family staying afloat during these incredibly difficult times. Contributions will go directly to the family for standard bills while they’re not working and Dupree’s daunting medical bills. Any donation will be greatly appreciated, as well as passing Dupree’s story on to anyone who may be able to help.
Love and thanks,
Aimee
