Help our friend Brad recover from his stroke
Donation protected
My name is Matt and I am trying to help my dear friend and bandmate of 30+ years, Brad Howard. On February 8th this year he went to Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC because he suddenly could not speak well and could not move his right arm or leg smoothly. He was there for 6 days. Any stroke is bad, but we who know Brad know that to lose the eloquent, affable, jovial, gregarious part of himself would be completely devastating. He could not sing, he could not joke (at least in a way that anyone else could understand). Things looked bad, but Brad’s care was exceptional and the ability of his brain to recover, inspiring. He came home able to walk and at least talk more clearly and with frequent physical, occupational and speech therapy, he is making a miraculous recovery. Modern medical miracles, however, are not cheap. The debt is enormous and accruing weekly as therapy goes on. Please help him continue to get the care that can lead him to a full and complete recovery, and get him back on stage where he belongs.
