Help our friend Anthony Topps

Anthony Topps, who some of you may know as Tony is one of the kindest, most outgoing people we know. Everyone that meets Tony considers him a friend for life.
On August 28th, our friend Anthony had a medical emergency kidney stone that sent him to the hospital in an ambulance. He had surgery but remained in intensive care with sepsis and other complications. He was on and off a ventilator multiple times before he was finally given a tracheotomy to help stabilize his condition. After another surgery and a month in the ICU, Anthony was eventually moved to the main hospital. He was released to Emory Long Term Acute Care on October 7th and will need our help during his recovery.
Anthony had to actually be readmitted into the hospital shortly after his discharge from Emory Long Term Acute Care. It was determined the sepsis was still there and got into his spinal cord in 2 places. Due to this additional hospital visit, he will have to go through around round of PT/OT and antibiotic treatment for 6 weeks.
All funds raised here will help ease anticipated financial expenses that an incident of this magnitude can have on an individual. These anticipated expenses include medical costs, therapies not covered by insurance, and an unknown time away from work. Anthony also has a monthly car note. He will need his car for work when he can return. I know we all want Anthony's top priority right now to be getting healthy.
Anthony’s infectious laugh and charismatic personality have made him a friend to many. Now he needs the support of all his friends. Any donation is welcomed and very much appreciated.
Thank you,
Friends of Anthony
