Our dear friend is a thoughtful and compassionate individual who has always been there for others. She is a disabled veteran who has fallen on hard times, and now she is at risk of losing her home. Because of the subsidized housing she relies on, she is unable to work more than part time, which has made it incredibly difficult to make ends meet. This financial hardship has put her in a vulnerable position, especially during a season that is meant to be jolly and bright.
