Help our FIRST LEGO League team patent their idea
Donation protected
We are a small, community-based FIRST LEGO League robotics team. As a part of each year's challenge, kids are tasked with coming up with an innovative solution to a problem in the world. This year's challenge is related to the movement of cargo, which is timely given the supply chain issues the world is facing.
We are seeking assistance to help us fund the filing of a provisional patent (and later full patent filing) on behalf of our team. We were recently selected as a finalist for a Global Innovation Award for an innovative solution they developed. Our team is a group of four children ranging from 9-13 years of age. Out of 35,000 teams worldwide, 150 teams are nominated, and only 20 of those are selected to be finalists for this award which Qualcomm sponsors. The 20 finalists are invited to present to industry experts in St. Louis at the end of June. This is a huge deal, and our team is excited!
Our team and our solution are about to be promoted by the FIRST organization, and they advised us to at least file a provisional patent to protect our invention (which we will share after the provisional patent is filed).
We are looking to family, friends, and supporters of young inventors to donate any small amount you can to help defray the costs involved.
Thank you for your help!
