In memory of "Sara Boatright" our WARRIOR
My name is Tara Bachman and my daughter Haley and I have been close friends with the Boatright’s for many years. The Boatright’s are the most incredible family with the biggest hearts you could ever imagine. They need our help and support more than ever.
Sunday evening, Sara Boatright laid down for a nap after a fun filled day with family and friends. Dusty, Sara’s husband found her unresponsive in their Texas home after checking in on her. She was rushed to The Memorial Hermann Medical Group in Conroe, Texas where she immediately underwent brain surgery to relieve fluid and swelling. Unfortunately, the swelling was not going down and they had to go back in and remove part of her temporal brain to allow movement in hopes to control the swelling. She has undergone multiple brain scans and is still unable to receive an MRI due to the swelling and fluid in her brain. She is currently in a medically induced coma in stable condition, courageously fighting so she can be reunited with her family and friends, who are unable to see/visit her through this difficult time.
Sara Boatright is 44 years old and is an amazing woman. She is a daughter, sister, wife of 24 years, a mother of three beautiful strong daughters and a proud grandmother aka “Gigi”. She is a lifelong friend and many will tell you she is one of the strongest women you will ever meet. Sara is kind, loving and always full of life. Family has always been saras’ number one priority; no matter the circumstance, she makes it a point to always see the good in everyone.
In addition to this devastating medical emergency, is the enormous expense that comes with extended hospital stays, treatment and surgeries. The financial stress has been overwhelming for the family as she had to resign from her job due to her husband's job transferring them from Missouri to Texas. As a result of this, she is currently unemployed leaving Dusty as their only source of income and minimal insurance coverage at the moment.
Our goal is to aim high and raise funds to lessen the financial impact they are facing during this traumatic time so they can focus on Sara and each other. We ask that you continue to keep Sara, family, and the medical team in your thoughts and prayers and know that with all your support we continue to have faith, hope and strength.
From the bottom of our hearts we humbly ask for your support and donations and as well as sharing this link with friends and family.
