Update August 2022: Our "brother in law" continues to recover but is scheduled to have additional surgery to help relieve pressure on his brain. His condition continues to improve but he's far from completely recovered. Any additional donations are encouraged and welcome by the family!
On December 26, 2021, our UNT Dallas College of Law classmate, fellow attorney, and brother Julian Askew collapsed in his home. He went into cardiac arrest, was rushed to the hospital, and has remained under heavy sedation ever since.
The prognosis for recovery looks questionable, and while much of this is a waiting game, we feel the need to do SOMETHING to help.
In support of the Askew family, we feel it appropriate to collect donations for the immediate family of Julian. Our intent is to offset some of the financial burden that resulted from this untimely ordeal. Please give from the heart as we support the family.
